Ooi Eng Leong

CEO of SEVENCO Construction Sdn Bhd

Ooi Eng Leong is a seasoned civil engineer and construction project management professional, holding a Bachelor's degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia. With over a decade of experience at Centralead Construction Sdn Bhd, where he served as Executive Director, Ooi showcased exceptional leadership in overseeing diverse construction projects. His role encompassed reviewing work progress, negotiating agreements, acquiring permits, and managing risks to ensure project success. Prior to this, from May 1999 to April 2001, Ooi worked at Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd (Seberang Perai) as a Technical Assistant, where he supervised sewerage treatment plant maintenance operations. During his tenure, he effectively led various projects,demonstrating strong organizational and supervisory skills.From September 2008 to February 2010, Ooi served as Project Manager at Bina Goodyear Bhd, where he managed a team at the Penang branch, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to quality, budget, and safety standards. His leadership contributed to the successful completion of residential and commercial projects across Penang and beyond, including housing units, commercial complexes, and cultural centers. In July 2023, Ooi transitioned to City Stay Sdn Bhd as a Director, where he continues to apply his expertise in project management and construction. His dedication to excellence and track record of success position him as a valuable asset in the industry.
